Jonathan Puckett

Pastor

Jonathan has been happily married to his wife Sara for almost 15 years. Together, they have
four children: Jackson, Georgia, Everly, and Harper. They love spending time in
the mountains, Braves baseball, and everything that goes into having 4 kids!

A Burke County native and Patton High School graduate (Class of 2008), Jonathan is currently
pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies at the College at Southeastern. With nine years
of experience in student ministry, he is passionate about discipleship and dedicated to building
meaningful relationships. Jonathan feels that his role is to lead the congregation in honoring
God through worship, discipleship, and evangelism. The Church’s goal is to know Christ and
make him known.

Jonathan is also passionate about and committed to both local and international missions. He
has built relationships with missionaries in Krakow, Poland, and continues to travel there yearly
to serve and partner with them to continue the work that God is doing.

Jonathan firmly believes that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God,
as affirmed in 2 Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” He supports the work of the
Southern Baptist Convention and its Cooperative Program, and he stands by the Baptist Faith
and Message 2000.
